The Month Anew
A new season
whispering softly
in the tired ear
of old man winter,
“leave us.”
The words
drip through
cracks in the earth,
delivering a blanket
of inspiration
to the sleeping
waiting,
thrusting forth
new life
as it should be,
within a circle
of new beginnings
the sun casts it’s
warmth,
and it rains
gently.
