BARN, photography by Cheryl Elich-Krumpelt

Barns found in the Midwest are most charming and vary from region to region. I would venture to say that the different structural confirmation of each barn is derived from the ancestral origins of their builders. Today, some seem lonely and forgotten, left to natural decay along the roadside or hidden in a field of corn or other crop …a testament to time and history.
