Walking back from a Bears Game in Chicago. The fans seemed confused by the loss of their beloved team. The sculpture acted as a place to reflect and loose ones self along the way….
from here to everywhere
no corner to hide
of chaos leaves less
but that of a path
floor boards vibrate the songs
of moderate souls
“which way and That” the song repeats
and limbs keep tracking , line after line
lacking perforation for hope
breathing in with each step
exhaling desperately to be recognized
in a crowd

|15 Honorable Mentions From IPA!!! Thank You!!
I am happy to announce that I have been awarded fifteen honorable mentions from the prestigious International Photography Awards 2015 (IPA) competition. Although I did not place in the top three(1st,2nd or 3rd place), this is still quite an honor and I thank the staff at IPA and the jury who had the tedious job of sorting through and deliberating over 17,000 images submitted from photographers world wide! Last year, I had submitted the same number of photographs and was pleased to receive four honorable mentions…sooo, I am thrilled that I have received more than three times the honors than from 2014…it shows that I have improved and my efforts this year have been worth while!!! Thanks again IPA-see
ya next year!

It’s All In The Family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, my husband is not the only photographer in the family…Ah yes, I did receive my fair share of recognition this year from IPA and that announcement is to come! Besides being so excited for my husband, I couldn’t be more happy for my son!!!! He was the master mind behind Water Flowers and our collaboration of photographs were awarded two separate Honorable Mentions for Seasons category and Flowers category! As a mother and artist, I can not tell you what this means. My family puts up with my mess of art projects, stopping to take a photo, the many requests to help out, be a model or hold a prop. Instead of resenting my endeavors, they have embraced the art and taken it as their own! I have inspired two people to explore their creativity…. THAT is what this is all about!! Sharing passions, sharing art and inspiring others to explore a side of themselves that they didn’t know existed!!! Congratulations A. Krumpelt!!! xoxo, Mom!
